Saganaki   Baked prawns (shrimp)

100g green prawns 2 cups classic tomato sauce
1 tablespoon tomato paste (contains no sugar or oil)
1 garlic clove
1 spring onion (optional)
Pinch of oregano
                                                           2 drops stevia
1 tablespoon prawn stock, salt and pepper
Method: Peel, trim and chop the garlic and spring onion. Place into a small cast iron pan; add prawn stock and sauté for two minutes. Pour the tomato sauce into pan; add the tomato paste, oregano and stevia drops, stir. Simmer for approximately 10 minutes. Meanwhile, peel the prawns leaving the tails intact, remove the heads, and devein; thoroughly wash. Arrange the prawns into the pan, and place in a preheated oven at 180oC. Cover and cook for 12 minutes or until prawns turn pink in colour. Remove from the oven, season and garnish with a few sprigs of parsley and lemon wedge. Serve at the table with a Greek style salad, topped with an added salad of fennel and onion.

Cooking with a cast iron pan, serving straight from the oven to the table gives a rustic feel to any meal. A normal fry pan is acceptable; however, place the tomato sauce and prawns into an earthen ware dish for baking.

Natural HCG Skin Care Recipes

“The skin is the mirror of our inner being.”

As a professional in the aesthetics industry for more than twenty years, I have cared for and educated many clients on how to achieve and maintain healthy skin, eventually seeing measurable results. I have included the following information to assist you in caring for and maintaining healthy skin throughout your HCG Protocol experience and beyond.

In the coming weeks, as your inner being improves by the processes of detoxification and eating to good health, you will see noticeable changes to your skin. It will appear healthier and clearer, enhanced with a natural glow; however, due to the nature of the diet and the requirements to stop the use of skin care products containing fats and oils, the skin may become dry and taut.
To support healthy skin rejuvenation, engage in a skin care routine which includes using non-oil cosmetics, participate in relaxation, meditation and light exercise, and consuming “healthy skin” foods.  Foods from the HCG Pantry have the essential vitamins and minerals to assist in maintaining healthy skin. Foods to include (just to name a few) are: organic colloidal minerals, organic probiotics, organic green powder,  rooibos and green tea, papaya, oranges, berries, dark green leafy vegetables, tomatoes and proteins. Together, this supports the skin, keeping it free from bacteria, keeping it well hydrated, nourished and leaving the skin soft and pliable.
I have selected natural ingredients from the HCG Pantry to create simple skin care treatments for you to enjoy. Or you may choose to luxuriate in the organic HCG skincare range TWENTY.8  that I have discovered for you to use in the comfort of your home spa.
